Energy & Smart Building

Energy and smart building in Morocco

Sertronix designs, installs and maintains power distribution, protected power and building management for buildings and critical sites in Morocco, for reliable supply and measured consumption.

01

What we do

  • Low-voltage distributionMain and sub-distribution switchboards, protection, discrimination, redundant distribution.
  • Protected powerUPS, batteries, maintenance bypass, generator connection and automatic transfer switches.
  • Energy metering and monitoringMeters per feeder, power quality measurement, consumption dashboards.
  • Building management system (BMS)Control of air conditioning, ventilation, lighting and technical alarms.
  • IoT sensorsTemperature, humidity, leaks, door openings and consumption, reported without heavy cabling on existing sites.
  • MaintenanceThermal imaging of switchboards, UPS and transfer tests, battery replacement.

02

Standards and methods

Europe and France — the reference in Morocco

  • NF C 15-100 / IEC 60364Low-voltage electrical installations.
  • IEC 61439Switchgear assemblies.
  • IEC 62040UPS systems.
  • EN ISO 52120 (formerly EN 15232)Efficiency classes for building automation.
  • ISO 50001Framework for metering plans and consumption tracking.

United States — on request

  • NFPA 70 (NEC)Electrical installations.
  • UL 891 and UL 1778Switchboards and UPS.
  • ASHRAE 90.1Building energy efficiency.

Open protocols — Modbus, BACnet, KNX and SNMP, to make equipment from different brands work together.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work without stopping operations?

Yes, in most cases. Transfers are prepared, scheduled with you and carried out on bypass or outside production hours.

How should a UPS be sized?

By measurement: real equipment power, peaks, planned growth and the autonomy you need. Beyond a few tens of minutes, a generator is usually the better answer.

Can an existing building be monitored?

Yes. Wireless sensors and gateways bring measurements back without new cabling.

Will your systems talk to our current equipment?

Yes, if it speaks an open protocol such as Modbus, BACnet or SNMP. We check this during the study.

What should we measure first?

The big consumers: air conditioning, IT, production. Metering per feeder shows where the energy goes before deciding on actions.

A power or monitoring project?

Call or write to us. We start with a site visit and a first technical opinion, with no commitment.
